SFC Kendall "Ken" Floyd Walker, Jr., U.S. Army, (Ret.), 77, died January 22, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born September 28, 1944 to Sara Louise Hanson and Howard Walker in Niagara Falls, New York. Ken attended The University of Niagara Falls State of New York and graduated in 1966. He also went on to earn a degree from The University of New York.He worked as a Tractor Repairman in the U.S. Civil Service for twenty-seven years. He received honors and was involved in organization types of charities.Ken enjoyed playing computer card games, his family, attending family outings, birthdays, holiday dinners, and used to take time out for just us two. In our twenty-one years of being together, I will treasure it all and I know my adult children will as well. He was my heart, soul, my everything.He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Louise Walker; and his granddaughter, Breezy Atkinson.Ken is survived by his wife, Verda Marcey Donally; daughters, Amber Hope (Thomas) Donally, and Zanetta RayeLarue Donally; son, Greg Steven Donally; stepdaughter, Angela (Shawn); goddaughter, Angela (Lisa Anderson-Coleman) Coleman; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Carol Springer; brothers, Michael Walker, Gordon Walker, and Kenny Walker; sisters-in-law, Carol Donally, Renea Donally, and Jiselle Donally; and brothers-in-law, Dean Donally, and Joey Donally.Visitation, 2:00PM-4:00PM, Funeral Service immediately following, 4:00PM, Monday, March 7, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
