Obituary of Trisha C. Bryce
Trisha Carole Bryce of Colorado Springs peacefully went to be with Jesus on February 8th after fighting a long battle with cancer. We praise God that her hope was in Him. She is survived by her caring husband, Darren, who walked this difficult journey of cancer with her. She is also survived by her three children, Melody, April, and Austin.Trisha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was known for her goofy laughs, silly kitchen dancing, and putting her family and others first as she truly lived out her Christian faith. She always enjoyed having her family close, camping trips to the mountains in their RV, working on puzzles, and loving on her grandchildren. She was born on August 19, 1960 in San Jose, California to William D. "Wild Bill" and Carol E. (Pieper) Newsom. Trisha grew up in Bakersfield, California alongside her younger brother, Derek. She attended Bakersfield College, then continued on to Colorado Northwestern in Rangely, Colorado where she completed her degree in dental hygiene. She was a dental hygienist for over thirty years and became close friends with so many of her beloved patients. She will be greatly missed by so many as she was truly a shining light in this world.Graveside Service, 3:00PM, Friday, February 18, 2022, Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.Memorial Service, 12:00PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, Academy Christian Church, 1635 Old Ranch Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.
