Obituary of Dr. Ingrid Bibey

Dr. Ingrid Bibey was born January 15, 1936 to Gartner Walter Karl and Lelisabeth Meta (Kummetz) Petri in Berlin, GermanyShe met Warren Bibey in 1954 while he was stationed in Germany. They married and had three kids, Michael, Sylvia, and Douglas. They moved to the United States in the late 1950's, and made several moves in the United States and Europe during Warren's military career. They settled in Colorado Springs in 1976. Ingrid graduated from University of Colorado Colorado Springs with her degree in Psychology, and received her Doctorate from Southern California University.She worked at Saint Francis Hospital as a Psychotherapist. Later she opened her own practice in marriage and family therapy. Ingrid loved to give back to others. Her primary focus was to feed the hungry. She was a very charitable person and gave generously to multiple charities. She had a helping and giving heart and she was loved by many.In her down time, Ingrid loved to watch chinese movies and studied Eastern spiritual practices.Ingrid is preceded in death by her parents, Gartner and Lelisabeth Petri; husband, Warren Frederick Bibey; and her son, Michael Bibey.She is survived by her son, Douglas Bibey; and her daughter, Sylvia Doak.A joint inurnment for Ingrid and Warren, 10:00AM, Friday, June 17, 2022, as well as an inurnment for their son, Michael at 11:00AM, Friday, June 17, 2022, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
