Obituary of Timothy John Tabar

Timothy "Timmy" John Tabar, 63, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away February 15, 2022, at his residence in Colorado Springs.He was born November 18,1958 to Ancermo Tabar and Erma Rose Farris in Fort Knox, Kentucky.Timmy went to High School at Harrison High in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he graduated in 1977. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1977-1981 where he began his love for cooking. After the Navy Timmy was a line cook for many years in Colorado Springs at Red Robin, Western Omelette, The Navajo Hogan and North Star resort in Lake Tahoe.Timmy's hobbies included spending time with his friends and family, playing poker and laughing, collecting toys (especially hot wheels) and watching his beloved Denver Broncos!He is preceded in death by his father, Ancermo Tabar; mother, Erma Rose Tabar; and brother, Anthony Tabar.Timmy is survived by his brothers, Warren Tabar of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Troy (Lori) Tabar of Aurora, Colorado, and Danny (Julie) Tabar of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters Sharon Lewis of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Michelle (Steve) Taylor of Aurora, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 10:00AM, Friday, March 11, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.Mask/facial coverings are required to attend the memorial service.Graveside Service, 12:00PM, Friday, March 11, 2022, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
