Obituary of Ricky Edward Steward

Ricky Edward Steward, 64, passed away suddenly on March 2, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born October 14, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama to Willie Wilson and Bernice (Redding) Steward.Ricky served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1992 then was honorably discharged due to disability.� After the Army, he began to work at the United States Postal Service as a supervisor, and retired in 2018.�He would then go on to get his Bachelors degree in computer science and security at Colorado Technical University.�Ricky enjoyed playing games on his Xbox and creating computer programs and websites.� However one of his biggest joys was riding/working on his motorcycles and spending time with family.�He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Wilson and Bernice Steward; and his brother, Gerald Steward.He was survived by his wife of forty-three years, Rhonda Lynn (Rhodes) Steward; and his children, Kevin (Janae) Steward, Kristin (Jeremy) Bohannan, and Kristopher (Rebecca Clark) Steward; along with seven grandchildren; and nephews, Jason and Jeremy Steward.Please feel free to join Ricky's family to honor a great man gone to soon.Graveside Service, 2:00PM, Friday, May 20, 2022, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
