I knew of Jeff through Nancy. Nancy and I would share stories as we went to the same hair stylist and nail technician. I had the honor to stay with Nancy, Rick, and Jeff down in the Springs when I was attending an art retreat. The love that bonded this family was very apparent. And the love that continues to bond will always be present. I'm happy that I was able to meet Jeff.

Jeff was not just my brother he was also my friend. Went so many places together. Our dad wanted to explore western Colorado, we did for him. Had a great time thanks to him.

I met Jeff years ago while working as a Master Gardener, planning, and planting a community garden for a special need's population in central Denver. Jeff had just moved into the building the day before we started planting; it was his first time living alone (always with family to help care for him); he said wanted to garden with us, but he could not stay for the planting because he had gotten a job at Domino's, taking pizza orders, and he did not want to be late on the first day, of his first job. Could he still have a spot in the garden? ABSOLUTELY! As the gardening season progressed, we found that most of the resident gardeners would not pick their veggies (including Jeff). If you picked it and ate it, you would not have anything to show for your efforts in the garden. This created quite the conundrum for Master Gardeners. Following a discussion about not letting food go to waste, Jeff came up with the idea of donating the fresh veggies to the food bank across the street "to help others that don't have enough to eat", something that all the gardeners enthusiastically embraced. For years, Jeff and the other gardeners, grew veggies and proudly took them to the Metro Caring Food Bank. Jeff, I am truly grateful to have had the honor of knowing you and calling you, my friend. I will miss our conversations about gardening and chess. Peace. Patricia Carmody

Jeff was the most caring person we have ever met. He prayed for anyone in need and had such a caring spirit. We cherish all the time and memories we had with him.
