Obituary of Robert Kirkman McMain
Robert "Kirk" Kirkman McMain, Jr, age 62, passed away on March 22, 2022 after battling a short illness in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and cousin, Kirk is survived by his wife, Christine McMain of Colorado Springs, Colorado; dog, Rory; parents, Marcella and Peter Ruch of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robert and Deanna McMain of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Melodie (Dave) Brietkreutz of Leoti, Kansas, Nancy "William" Hedges of Niceville, Florida, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Curran of Fishersville, Virginia; and brother, Justin Moore-Ruch of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. In addition, his step brothers, David Ruch, Daniel Ruch, Michael Ruch, and Scott Rawlinson, and step sister Sharaine Roberts. He was also a treasured uncle, brother-in-law, and cousin to many.Kirk, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado was known for his generosity, warmth, sense of humor and entrepreneurial spirit. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hiking, boating, camping, skiing, and motorcycling. He had a huge circle of great friends and loved to entertain them. He traveled extensively both inside and outside the country. Kirk was the founder and owner of MCTV, an advertising company specializing in rural Colorado markets. Kirk may hold the records for concerts attended and vinyl collected, music stirred his soul.
