Obituary of William Kosta Spiroff

William Spiroff, 82, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on March 22, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones after a long and brave battle against cancer. He was born July 29, 1939 in Dearborn, Michigan.William was known by many different names - Bill, Dad, Vangel, Pop and Grandpa. He loved cars, golf and Hallmark movies. William was an airplane pilot, a boat captain, and a NASA engineer. After working in the auto industry in Michigan for many years, he moved his family to Houston to start a twenty-one year career at NASA, and enjoyed retirement in North Carolina and then later in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Carol; children, Pam, Chris and Steve; and his eight grandchildren.
