Obituary of JB Stewart

JB Stewart, 86, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away March 27, 2022 in his daughters' home. He was born November 30, 1935 to Earnest and Chaney (Ward) Stewart in Cuero, Texas. JB went to high school at Duale High and graduated Valedictorian in 1954. He went on to earn his Master's and Doctoral degree in Engineering Administration from The University of Utah.He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Chaney (Ward) Stewart; his wife, Earlene Hopkins-Stewart; twin sister, Susie B. Booker; and siblings, Earnest Jr., Alvin, and Isabel.JB is survived by his daughter, Shirley Stewart; son, Leontra Stewart; and their mother, Delores Bennett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; stepchildren, Sylvia (James) Morris, Ken (Stacey) Hopkins, and Tony Hopkins, all of Salt Lake City, Utah, Greg (Wendy) Hopkins and Wayne (Sarah Christine) Hopkins both of Denver, Colorado, and Harold Hopkins of Shelby Township, Michigan.
