She is preceded in death by her husband, Andy Newman; parents, William and Alma Miller; son, Miles Brandon Miller; brothers, Dan Miller, Sr., and Mark Miller, Sr.Connie is survived by her daughter, Alma Hamilton; grandsons, Isaac Evans, and Brandyn Hamilton; sister, Alwina McFarlin; brother, Randy Miller; nephews, Mark Miller, Jr., Paul Miller, Robert McFarlin, and Danny Miller; nieces, Carrie McFarlin, Michelle Miller, and Audrey Miller; great-grandson Grayson Evans; and numerous other extended family.
