Obituary of Melody Gammill

Melody Gammill, age 68, of Calhan, Colorado passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. Melody is survived by her husband, Jerry Gammill of Calhan, Colorado; children, Sheila Butler (spouse, Jacob Butler) and Ericka Benson (spouse, Jackie Banta); stepchildren, Tammy Greek, Darrel Coss, and Robert Coss; brothers, Mark Spielman and Richard Spielman; sister, Louella Spielman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Billie Spielman. Melody grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she attended Palmer High School. Melody was the life of the party and never met a stranger. She loved to cook, crochet, and spend time with her family. She would do anything for a laugh and always enjoyed helping a stranger.Melody was frequently involved in benefits to raise money for families in need. She loved to help with the combat veterans group.
