Obituary of Ronald Hearn

Ronald Hearn, age 65, of Alton, Illinois passed away on April 29, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born May 30, 1956 to Aaron Hearn and Mollie Gibson Hearn in Alton, Illinois. Ronald went to, and graduated from, Alton High School. He professed his love for Christ at an early age at Tabernacle Baptist Church.Ronald worked as a mechanic for many years, he was friends to many and loved by all. He shared a special bond with his children and twin brother, Donald. In his early years, he enjoyed playing basketball and raising his children. Ronald's infectious personality attracted the love of everyone he'd meet. The highlight of Ronald's life was spending time with his children and family, especially throughout his adult years. He relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he remained a resident.Ronald came from a large family from both his mother and father, yet he some how managed to maintain and develop uniquely personal relationships with all his family members. From his parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins, he was everyone's favorite because of the love he shared so freely. His family and friends will forever cherish his memory and endearing love.He is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Hearn and Mollie Gibson Hearn; son, DaRon Hearn; brothers, Sylvester Coley, Mike Webb, Arthur Hearn, and John Patterson.He leaves to cherish his children, Ronnisha Hearn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nichole Hearn, Jamal Logan, Antonio Womack, Keon Hearn, Demarco Womack, and DeCarlo Logan all of Alton, Illinois; siblings, James Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, Dorothy (Keith) Hearn - Howell of Alton, Illinois, Donald Hearn of Alton, Illinois, Thomas Hearn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Melba (Jamie) Hearn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and James (Dortha) Hearn of Grovesport, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.The family of Ronald Hearn would like to express our sincerest appreciation to those who have expressed their condolences, thoughts, and prayers.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, Harrison Funeral Chapel and Cremation Center, 1924 Central Avenue, Alton, Illinois 62002.Repass, 5:00PM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, Morning Star Baptist Church, 1 East 6th Street, Alton, Illinois 62002.
