Obituary of SFC James "JD" Dale Hill, U.S. Army

SFC James Dale "JD" Hill, U.S. Army (Ret.) of Yuba City, California, passed away at age 75 in his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.JD served in the United States Army from October 5, 1966 and retired November 1, 1986. While serving, he was awarded several service medals, but nothing made him prouder than his medals awarded from his three campaigns served in Vietnam.He was also a professional Bull Rider and earned the title of the 1984 European Bull Riding Champion. After retiring from the Army, he attended culinary school and graduated top of his class in Culinary Arts and Food Business Management.JD is survived by his wife, Man "Sue"; sons, daughters, and grandchildren.JD will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
