Obituary of Marie Louise "Tot" Dennis

Marie Louise "Tot" Dennis passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 92.Marie was born October 12, 1929, in South Gate, California to Josephine (Mibielle) and Charles Bressoud. On June 15, 1950, she married her handsome sweetheart, Alfred Dennis. Tot and Al raised seven children together during their lifetime. Marie was a military wife, elementary school librarian, and church and community volunteer. She was passionate about her family and all those who met her just loved her so. Marie was known for the patience of a saint, unconditional love of her family, terrific sense of humor, high expectations of herself, willingness to try new things, her warm and sincere attitude, and acceptance of others.Marie has gone to be with her heavenly father, joining her husband Al; daughter Lori Corona; and brothers, Andy, Chuck, and Harry. She is survived by her children, Mark (Carol) Dennis, Jan (David) Frearson, Marian Scott, Bob Corona, Nick (Cathy) Dennis, Tony (Nicole) Dennis, and Angela (Scott) Diamanti; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren; and siblings, Jeanne Henson, Ed (Carol) Bressoud, and Suzanne (John) Healy.Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM, Thursday, May 19, 2022, Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 11020 Teachout Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.
