Obituary of Misty Cheyanne Davis-Jones

Misty Cheyanne Davis-Jones, 48, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born on September 7, 1973 in Waverly, Missouri to Gayle Ann Endicott of Wakenda, Missouri and William Mike Davis of Bosworth, Missouri. Misty lived in Missouri until she was three years old and then spent the majority of her life living in Texas. She attended R.L. Turner High School, where she had many friends that she still held dear to her heart all of her life. She held several jobs in Texas but the most memorable as a manager at Albertson's. Misty lived the last three years of her life in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she working for the AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service) at Fort Carson and Peterson Air Force Base. She made many more new friends in Colorado as honestly, Misty never met a stranger. She was friendly, kind and would go out of her way to do anything for her friends or family that they needed. She was fun loving with a free spirit and time not spent with family, friends or working, Misty enjoyed thrift store shopping and adding anything she could possibly find to her massive Mickey Mouse collection. Misty loved all of her friends and family but none of them could compare to the love that she had for her son, Miles Davis. Miles was born on February 5, 1992 and from that day forward, he was Misty's whole world. It was Miles that gave Misty the opportunity to experience Colorado and she loved it from the moment she got there. Misty, you will forever hold a special place in the hearts of your countless friends and large extended family. Our lives will never be the same without you. There will be a small family memorial held in Bosworth, Missouri at a later date that is not yet determined where. Misty will be laid to rest near her grandma and grandpa Davis. Misty is survived by her son, Sgt Miles Davis and wife, Patience of Colorado Springs, Colorado; parents, Gayle and Don Hockridge of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Sarah and Olin Dillard of Corinth, Texas, Jennifer and John Mask of Blue Ridge, Texas; nieces, Elisa Joiner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rylie Steele, Alectra Mask and Karalyne Mask of Blue Ridge, Texas; nephews, John Joiner, Jr. of Carrollton, Texas, Noah Steele of Blue Ridge, Texas; uncles, Larry Godsey of Kansas City, Missouri, Ed and Lou Endicott, Terry and Janet Endicott, Lonny and Mary Endicott, Butch and Marcie Endicott, Tim and Becky Endicott, all of Carrollton, Missouri, Bill and Nancy Hockridge of Farmers Branch, Texas; aunts, Beverly and Bob Hinton of Jefferson City, Missouri, Traci and Zack Zacharias of Lakebay, Washington; along with countless cousins all across the country.
