Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Anne Holley
Pat was born to Evelyn and Wakefield Holley on September 16, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She died of natural causes on June 1, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Pat was a graduate of Northwest Classen High School and had three children, Jason, Stacy, and Brent. She was proud of and loved her children dearly. Pat found success throughout her varied career. She worked in office management, medical sales and research, as executive director for United Cerebral Palsy of Oklahoma City, and eventually as an entrepreneur owning her own catering business. She was the first female president of the Lion's Club of Oklahoma City. Pat was a gardener, writer, excellent cook, and lover of animals. She enjoyed community theater and was particularly fond of The Millibo, Funky Little Theater, and S.E.T.She gave generously her time and talents to nonprofits. Pat had a strong desire to help people in greatest need and saw value in every life. She and her friends formed The Rose Ladies who provided essential items every month to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Pat also worked with the Coroner's office, hospitals, The Colorado Springs Echo newspaper, and nonprofits to ensure homeless neighbors who died were identified and that their lives were recognized.Pat was a smart, witty, happy, tenacious, sassy, and caring person. She was an example to all for how to live one's life and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.Pat is survived by her sons, Jason (DeeDee) Bond and Brent (Veronica) Bond; daughter, Stacy Poore; grandchildren, Dara Bond, Justin Bond, Jordan (Landon) Green, Bryann (Max) Weisheipl, Christopher (Gina) Poore, Parker Poore, Dante Bond, and Nico Bond; great-grandchildren, Addison, Isadore, Huxley, Marlow, Sunny, Winston, Eliana, Kelton, and Laila.Celebration of Life, 11:00AM, Thursday, July 23, 2022, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 730 North Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.In lieu of flowers, it was Pat's wish for friends and family to make donations to Assistance League of Colorado Springs https://www.assistanceleague.org/colorado-springs/or to Westside Cares https://www.westsidecares.org/.
