Obituary of Marion Florence Puetz

Marion Florence Puetz, who was born to John and Evelyn Wilson in Keene, New Hampshire, passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 94. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie; son-in-law, Eric; and granddaughter, Ashlyn. Marion preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, John; brother, John Ernest; and sister, Barbara. She met her husband while living in California, getting married in 1955 and had two children. Eventually they moved to Long Island, New York to be closer to family. Marion was a homemaker and worked P/T for many years teaching phonetics to children with learning disabilities. It started as a way to help her own son. She was always his biggest champion. She was very active in her church and made many good friends over the years. In 2014 she decided to move to Colorado Springs, Colorado to be closer to her daughter and only grandchild, who was her pride and joy. Marion lived a simple life, never asking for much, but was always a giving and generous person to others. She had an infectious laugh and she loved talking to everyone and anyone.She will be missed, but we are comforted by knowing she is reunited with family in Heaven and in the loving embrace of the Lord. She will be buried on Long Island beside her husband and son.
