I never met Marilyn, but we met through Facebook where I found out she was my cousin Richard's wife. And she was from Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento where we live. As a result of our friendship, I was able to reconnect with my cousins Richard, Dede, and David. I am deeply indebted to her for reuniting me with my family. Although we never met, I know she was an amazing person. Mine and Tracy's hearts go out to all of you.

Marilyn was such a gracious and thoughtful person. She would come in to my restaurant frequently for lunch (Cobb salad, glass of KJ Chardonnay) and we became friends. We chatted often about life and family, and stayed friends even after I moved away. I will miss her gentle presence in my life. Deepest sympathy to Dick and her whole family, as I know she loved them so much and was loved in return.

So sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. I went through Kindergarten to High School with her. I remember her style and her laugh. Many birthday parties at Chich and Laura's home. And she was always at my birthday parties. On funny memory was in 4th or 5th grade she and her parents went on vacation, one of their stops was Churchhill Downs. Marilyn knew I was horse crazy so she bought me a souvenir; a boy of Road Apples. She was a beautiful presence. My condolences to her family on their loss. Lynn Turbovsky Davies.
