Obituary of Lynn Dicus Shrigley

Lynn Dicus Shrigley passed from this life on June 26, 2022, after a gallant fight with several serious health issues. She was born April 15, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland to Fletcher Aaron, Jr. and Lillian Elizabeth (Reynolds) Dicus, both of whom have preceded her in death. Her sister, Elizabeth, has also preceded her in death.When Lynn was young, her family moved to Colorado and she became very active in Westernaires, an equestrian organization located in Jefferson County, rising through the ranks to become part of the Red Team, the prestige riding team of the organization. She loved riding horses, but especially her beloved mount, Rowdy.Lynn was a gifted artist in many areas including drawing and painting, but her favorite artistic expression was beading. She was an avid beader and wove many intricate pieces she was happy to share with her friends and family. Her creations were breathtaking!Lynn is survived by her loving husband, James "Jim" Edwin Shrigley; brother, Fletcher Aaron (Louann) Dicus, III; many nieces, and a nephew, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Lynn's loving, kind, and gentle presence and spirit, as well as her continuous generosity, will be missed and remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
