Obituary of Marcellous Weston Jack Gonzalez

Marcellous "Gonzo" Gonzalez, 24, of Fountain, Colorado was called home on June 26, 2022. He was born November 10, 1997 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at 10:10am. He was loving from the moment he was born until he was called home. Marcellous graduated high school from Fountain Fort Carson In 2016. He was an amazing athlete excelling in basketball, soccer, football, and his most favorite sport, baseball. Marcellous recently got out of the Army and spoke often about missing his army battles. He just got a job working with UPS here in Colorado Springs, and was excited to work with his uncle. He loved his sisters and brother with a deep love that could never fade. He had two children and they were his world and would say he was lucky to have a girl and boy. Marcellous will be missed and was deeply loved and admired by many. We always said I love you, multiple times a day and anytime we hung up the phone or were leaving in our cars. He made the most of everything and did not take moments for granted. We will always cherish every memory and continue to let his smile light our paths. Marcellous is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Otis Hobdy, and grandmother, Deborah Ann Hobdy. He is survived by and will always be a guiding light to his mother, Carrie Mae Cox; father, Shane Cox; daughter, Abryelle Gonzalez; son, Marshaun Gonzalez; sisters, Alannah Cox and Autriana Cox; brother, Shaun Cox, and step-brother, Logan Cox; paternal grandparents, Eugene (Diane) Cox; aunt, Katherine Hobdy; uncles, Derrik Paris and Shaun Cox; cousins, Aingel Trujillo, Alexis Trujillo, Alejandro Trujillo, Alonzo Trujillo, Eden Paris, James "J.J."
