Obituary of Julia "Toshi" Toshiko Soraoka

Julia Toshiko Soraoka, 99, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022.�She was born March 13, 1923 to Yotaco Hashimoto and Tei Fujii in Tokyo, Japan.Julia married Genzo Soraoka, while he was serving in the United States Army.�Toshi followed her husband to many places around the world.�Retiring in Hawaii, they lived a comfortable life for a long time in Wahiawa, Hawaii.�When Genzo passed away, she moved to Colorado to live with one of her sons.�She is survived by daughter, Linda; sons, Edward, Daniel, and Thomas; as well as five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild.Memorial Service, 10:00AM, Monday, July 25, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.Inurnment, 9:15AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver Colorado 80263.
