Obituary of Marjorie Helen Cliff

Marjorie Cliff, age 97, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Bethesda Gardens in Monument, Colorado. She was a retired school secretary, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.Marjorie Helen King was born on November 3, 1924 in Monica, Illinois to the late Herman S. and Ella F. (Spahr) King. She was baptized in 1925 and confirmed in her faith in 1938.She was a graduate of East Peoria High School and attended Business School in East Peoria.After college she married Charles L. Cliff at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington, Illinois on July 16, 1949. Charles died in 1971.She later married Alfred Eugene McCaulou at Bethel Lutheran Church in Cupertino, California on November 25, 1990. Gene died in 1992.Marjorie had retired in 1986 after many years as a School District Secretary in Northern California. She loved square dancing, knitting, and sewing. She made many of her own dresses for square dancing. She is survived by her sons, Craig L. Cliff and Alan F. Cliff of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and grandsons, Kevin C. Cliff and Kyle C.
