I remember her taking care of the dogs for Ruth. We would go there a lot while growing up! Ruth would always go and have dinner with her and would tell me all kinds of stories. (Ruth was like a mom to me) I had a dream last night that included Ruth telling me she was going to have dinner with Mrs. Brewer and she would call me after. I decided to search the internet and I'm saddened she had passed but the stories I've heard she loved her life and her sweet doggie Ruth would tell me all about! Im sure Ruth and her are having many dinners together maybe with all their families included this time! My deepest condolences for her friends and family! Allyssa Brumback

Mrs B was my client and a friend. My family loved her. She always had an interesting story to tell and the laugh of a happy person. She would ask how you were doing and listen showing she cared. If she heard you were doing something she didn't like, she would tell you that too. (i.e. Motorcycle riding) She had such a busy social calendar too. Always going out to eat with friends, going to plays, invited over for Holidays, Gingerbread houses at the Broadmoor. She traveled all over. She loved her Dandies...and she loved people. I would tell her not to get into trouble and she would say, "then I wouldn't be having any fun!" with that twinkle in her eye. Her 106 years, 10 months and 7 days were lived to the fullest. Rest in Peace Mrs B. - Motorcycle Mike

Mrs. B was an incredible woman! She lived the kind of life that inspired me, and never used her age as an excuse for why she couldn't live life to the fullest! It would be an honor to be anything like her: running a business, having a full social calendar, and treating so many people with kindness. We will miss you so much!

Mrs. B as we called her was very kind and fun to be around. She followed her passions (namely dogs) as she cared for them for many many years. It's rare for someone her age to still have a passion and she taught me through her life that your age doesn't need to disqualify you from what you enjoy doing. She told stories that made me laugh without even meaning to. My favorite memory was when she came over for thanksgiving one year. We will miss her!

I met Frances at a specialty show for Dandie Dinmont Terriers in Pasadena, CA. In the early 1990's. Frances was a force of nature and to know her was something else. I will miss her and her take charge attitude. Love from your "Gypsie Friends"

Such an inspiring woman to know and love! Mrs. B was small but mighty in kindness, fun, stories, and being a business woman long after others would have stepped aside. I loved getting to know her over a Thanksgiving meal or taking her to the Broadmoor Gingerbread House events and listening to her amazing stories of how she walked dogs with Julie Penrose and was so much a part of our Colorado Springs history. She lived life to the full, surrounded herself with friends, was always so kind to my family and I and she will be missed!!!
