Obituary of Darlene Bright

Darlene Bright, 56, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away August 23, 2022 at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born February 6, 1966 to Enrico and Lorraine Sirico in the Bronx, New York.Darlene went to Pinelands Regional High School in Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey and graduated in 1984, and went on to complete further college courses. She worked in banking and then the food service industry for several years before she found her real love and passion in becoming a mother and raising a family in 2002.Darlene was a devoted wife and mother, and always wanted the best for her family. After moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2016 she still maintained contact with all her numerous and uncountable friends and family from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, whom she loved and was loved by. She lived to see her beautiful daughter grow up to graduate high school, begin college, and start a budding career as a chef.No matter the circumstances, Darlene was always happiest when her family was at home with her. No weekend overtime and the school semester over meant backyard BBQs, playing games, watching a movie together, or making that big Sunday pot of gravy with the whole family. She loved the lights and decorations during the holidays, and loved changing the d�cor, or more correctly, directing the changing of the decor both inside and outside the home, as the seasons waxed and waned, and it was that love of family that drove her to maintain a beautiful home.Darlene has touched so many lives over the years, and will always be loved and remembered, and will forever live in our hearts and dreams. There was so much she wanted to give and so much we wanted to give to her. She left the world too soon and will always be missed by those who knew and loved her best.Darlene is preceded in death by her father, Enrico Sirico; and mother, Lorraine Sirico.She is survived by her husband, David M. Bright; daughter, Kaitlyn LJZ Bright; step-son, David Bright, Jr.; brother, Rick Sirico; niece, Tara Sirico; grandniece Gia Taylor; and the numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that she leaves behind.
