Obituary of Mary Anne Mull

Mary Anne Mull passed away on August 26, 2022.She was born in Great Bend, Kansas to Lloyd and Margaret Merten on April 2, 1929. She went to a one room school near their farm by Heizer, Kansas until moving to a farm west of Great Bend. Mary Anne graduated from Great Bend High School in 1947, then attended Lindenwood College and Barton County Community College.In 1948 she married Charles L. Mull at First Congregational United Church. They lived on a farm north of Pawnee Rock, Kansas for twenty-one years before moving to Great Bend, Kansas.Mary Anne was a member of First Congregational United Church for seventy years, where she was a devoted volunteer. She was a farm wife and a homemaker. She worked part-time for Gibson Hallmark, and the Best Western Hotel. She volunteered at the Central Kansas Medical Center gift shop for many years. She moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2015 to be near her daughter.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mull; parents, Lloyd and Margaret Merten; one brother, and four sisters.Mary Anne is survived by her daughter, Emily (Joe) Ferri of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sons, Robert W. Mull of Seattle, Washington, and David L.
