Obituary of Gladys Marie Brown

Gladys Marie Brown, 93, passed into her eternal rest on September 17, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born at home in Binger, Oklahoma on December 4, 1928. She was the ninth of ten children who grew up on the family farm, and she lived most of her life in Oklahoma. She retired to Blackwell, Oklahoma in 1998 until moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she spent the last year of her life. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Klusmeyer and Lucy Waller; her six brothers, Joseph, Jake, Carl, Archie, Clifford, and Calvin; and three sisters, Grace Hula, Gussie Gregory and Gertrude Anderson. Her survivors include Carolyn Shields, Janet Stephenson, Peggy Lynch, Brook Brown, Michael Brown; and three generations of grandchildren. Visitation, 12:00PM - 4:00PM, September 21, 2022, at the home of Michael and Renee Brown, 5847 Wild Bill Way, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923. Gladys loved flowers, so the family welcomes floral memorials for the visitation.
