Joe, you were truly one in a million! Some of my best ever memories were shared with you. Thank you for all the laughs, good memories, and many many lessons. When I think of Joe I think of Hilarious, Side-splitting Laughter, Porsches, Ferraris, Maseratis, "The Tan One", the Cobalt, Forza Magazine, the Daytona, Formula One Racing, The Big Lebowski (The Joe), Oh Brother Where Art Though ("My Hair"!), Cokes and Root Beer, Banana Popsicles, Driving really fast over the Monument, Driving really fast anywhere, The movie The Secret, The Law of Attraction by Esther Hicks, UFO's, "JCJDP", Tommy the Akita, Pink Floyd, Lake Powell, The chapel at PVH, I could go on ad infinitum…. Joseph (Joe) Jackson Payne was born February 10, 1962 to Peggy and Jack Payne of Moab Utah. Joe attended grade school there until the age of eight, when the family moved to Grand Junction, CO. Joe graduated from Pomona Elementary, West Jr. High School and Grand Junction High School. Joe's interests included motorcycling, boating, and sports cars, particulary Ferraris and Porsches. Joe had many different jobs during his lifetime, including construction, land development and car sales. Joes is preceded in dealth by his parents and is survied by his son and daugher, He will be missed for his humor and gregariousness. Nothing was off limits.
