Bennett, I've known your daddy for a very long time, and the best changes I've seen in him are from the happiness that you, your mommy and sisters bring to him. When your mom and dad met, they fell in love and started their journey together. They moved away, but even with the miles between us, I grew to know you and your sisters through text and pictures. Imagine that! You were born into such a big and loving family. I've always thought that was so wonderful for you and your sisters. I knew you had many adventures ahead of you. I remember when I heard Bennett was a boy. I remember telling you how special the mother/son bond is. I am so glad you got to experience it but hate you don't continue to experience it. Precious baby Bennett, Although I only met you twice, you left me with a life time of memories! Your daddy would send your mommy pictures or videos of you and I would be peaking right over her shoulder catching my priceless glance of your beautiful little face! When your momma talks about you, she lights up like a star. Yes you Bennett, you make her light up that bright!! I tried to explain to her that being blessed with you, would teach her an incredible bond, that she could have only imagined having in this lifetime! Dear Sweet Bennett, From the moment I heard you were born I was excited to meet you! I remember thinking that I couldn't wait to see those cute little baby fingers and toes. Everytime I was able to see you I tried to hold you as long as possible, fighting the rest of the family for all of the baby snuggles. But one of my favorite memories is when we were blessed to have you, your sisters, and your parents as some of the first visitors to our new house! While your parents went to a wedding Jared and I watched you and your sisters. You were so calm and happy as all the girls ran wild and played. My heart exploded with love listening to the sounds of laughter combined with your sweet baby coos. I held you in my arms almost all evening because you were honestly just too precious to put down. I literally could not get enough of you. There are no words to express the spark of joy and love that brought me after the stress of moving. To have that as one of my first memories in our home is one that I will cherish for a lifetime. You are loved beyond belief!

My Sweet Boy "A mother is the son's first true love, a son, specially the first, it's their mother's last true love. -Denzel Washington-" This quote resonates so much with me Bennett - I prayed incredibly hard to God for several years to bless me with a baby boy. When we found out that we were finally having a boy we were all ECSTATIC! My pregnancy with you wasn't the easiest but it was extremely special to me. Even from the womb you were so protective and responsive to me as I was with you - I'd talk to you ALL THE TIME and even sing to you too and you'd instantly wiggle inside to talk and sing back to me. Maybe that had something to do with you being so talkative all the time (which I LOVED so much and couldn't wait for the conversations we would have had as you got older) I dreamt my whole life to share that mother son bond with you and I will never understand why it wasn't something we were going to experience together long term on Earth. If love alone could have saved you, you would have lived forever! You hands down without a doubt we're the most incredible baby God ever created! You were so perfect and sweet - a true Angel! You filled our lives with so many amazing memories - ones I'll hold close to my heart and cherish FOREVER! I love you so so so much Benito! Bennett, I am forever grateful that I saw you the week before. I was really needing some baby time and was excited to get to see you and your sisters- your Dad was a good bonus too. You were sleeping when I got there but soon after your dad asked Olivia to check on you, but I really wanted to help too. I ran up the stairs to see the sweetest boy sleeping, not going to lie, I kinda woke you up. All it took was one little "Hey Bennett" and you were awake, smiling up at me. I sat you up in bed and typical boy, you greeted me with a burp, which made us both smile. I changed your diaper for the first, maybe second time, and you just stared at me with those beautiful blue eyes. Olivia wanted to carry you downstairs so I followed closely behind, you are so lucky to have her as a big sister. We spent the next few hours together, Courtney fed you and I played with you in your stroller. You liked it when I pulled you close to me and would let out a sweet giggle. I of course couldn't put you down for too long and was back holding you until I got you back to sleep. I could have held you in my arms forever. If I would have known that was going to be my last time, I would have never let you go. I would smell your head and kiss your checks, and tell you again how much I love you. You barely knew me, but I was crazy for you! You are such a blessing and we all will forever love and miss you. You have touched my life and I am forever changed. Dear Bennett, I remember when your mama told me she was pregnant with you! It was such a special moment because I was also newly pregnant, and she didn't want to take away my shine by her being pregnant too (she's so caring like that, but you already knew that!) But of course I was sooo happy for her. We were pregnant together again, how cool! One of the first things she said to me was how much she wanted a little boy. I remember how excited she was when that dream came true. You made her the boy mama she was always destined to be. We only met once, it was at Paxton's 2nd birthday party. You came with your mom, dad, and sisters! Your sisters loved to play in the pool with pax, and you loved to watch them! I remember holding you for the first time and thinking how calm and sweet you were. I remember thinking that you were so heavy compared to Raynie, even though you're almost 2 months apart! If that day said anything about how you were, it's that you were the best little baby around! So happy, so sweet, and so easy. What a dream baby you were, Bennett! I wish you were still here, little dude, everyone does. I don't know why God wanted you to come home so early, but I hope you have the best time up there with him. I know you will be a guardian angel to your Mom, Dad, Olivia, and Audrey. You have the best family, Bennett! Your parents did everything for you & love you unconditionally. I'm so sorry you have to be away from them for a little bit, but you will meet again someday. Until then, I promise we will be praying down here for your family's healing.
