Obituary of Donald "Don" Dale Carpenter

Donald "Don" Dale Carpenter, 80, passed away September 25, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Don was a GREAT man who deeply loved the Lord Jesus, his wife, his family members, and his many friends! No one was a stranger to Don; he could have a conversation with anyone. Wherever he went and whoever he met, everyone loved him! Don was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He loved playing baseball, and with his marvelous booming voice, earned a scholarship in music. He excelled in theater, singing and performing in musicals. Then he was called to be a pastor, counselor, and educator. He founded and ran a successful accounting firm for the past four decades, which he started in Flagstaff, Arizona. He continued to operate it for the last twenty-four years while living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He truly loved his clients, and his clients loved him! He thoroughly enjoyed classical music, watching golf, and conversing about the Bible and things of God. He served on the board of a non-profit ministry called Basic Bible Guide until his passing. Don was exceptionally loving, gracious, loyal, wise, generous, optimistic, and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed beyond words!
