Obituary of Bonnie Jeanne VanPelt

Bonnie Jeanne VanPelt, 53, born to Ernie and Sherrie Stern on June 3, 1970, in Munich, Germany passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022. The amazing and inspiring life of Bonnie VanPelt was one that will be remembered and passed down through those who knew her and those that never got the blessing of meeting her. She was a woman of pure strength. She endured some of life's most cruel and heartless actions, coming out of the fire with a smile that would brighten up anyone's darkest days. Anyone who knew who this beautiful and wonderful woman would all say the same thing about her; that, "her soul was a rare and beautiful one". No matter how many hardships came and knocked her down, she would always stand up and fight back twice as hard. She was a fighter. When she would fear something, she would face it headfirst no matter how big or how challenging it was. There was no keeping her down. She fought bravely all the way to the end. Family meant everything to Bonnie, and this wasn't just her immediate family that she held closest to her heart. Bonnie had a wonderful habit of making her family bigger and bigger. She would adopt her kid's friends into her family as her sons and daughters. She would adopt her own friends into her family as her brothers and sisters. Her home housed all the parties, get-togethers, and all that in between. Her name to anyone who walked through her door was either Mom or Best friend. A treasure that will be held close to the hearts of those who got honor to call her one of those two names. She was not only a wonderful mother and friend, but she was also a blessing of a daughter to many. Those who called her daughter would get to see the fruits of what she had accomplished in her life as she grew up and became the roots for her entire family. There was not a single thing that she would not have done for her children, husband, parents, friends, co-workers, or even strangers. Bonnie made her family what it is now. The way that Bonnie touched all our hearts is something that will be talked about for generations to come. Every person that got to know this wonderful and beautiful soul has been changed forever. She spoke love, life, and advice to everyone. She always provided a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. She would want us to love, help others and stand for the same things she did. The amazing and inspiring life of Bonnie VanPelt will live one in us and every single person we reach out too. Bonnie is survived by her loving parents Ernest and Donna, Joan VanPelt, Brenda, and George Purnia; Loving, amazing husband and best friend Robert VanPelt; her brother and sister Steven and Billy Joe Stern, Michele VanPelt; and her children, Tristen and Kaden Purnia, Mackenzie and Noah Wheeler, Mel Wright, and Easton VanPelt; along with all her friends and adopted family that she has come to grow with in her life.
