As he was growing up Wes frustrated us, no more than each of us has frustrated our own parents in the past, but I am so proud of the man, the husband and the dad that he grew into. I have never understood his passion for sports. Or shoes. Just like he never got mine for computers and woodworking, but we definitely agreed on video games. I cannot express how much I am going to miss him and his goofball jokes. He was a funny guy and could make so many people laugh. The world is not as bright without you in it… Love you Wes.

I first met Wesley in 2006 and was immediately smitten by his good looks and sense of humor…his blue eyes and that charming smile! He shared his love of music, sports, and movies with me. In 2008 when Brooklyne was born, he gave me the greatest treasure I will ever know. As a dad, his friendly and outgoing personality was a perfect balance to my reserved, quiet nature which gave Brooklyne a good foundation on which to grow and thrive. He signed her up for soccer and gymnastics, they did numerous puzzles together, and he taught her how to play Pokémon. When she was ready, he entered her into tournaments where they spent many weekends together. This past year, she enjoyed shopping and thrifting with him as well as going to Denver for Rockies games with Wes and Audrianna - a family tradition that was beginning to mean so much to her. Wesley, I will keep you updated on her many accomplishments in life and will wish so badly that you were here to show her your pride and your love. She misses you so much already, a feeling I know she and I will share and carry with us forever. Love, Sara.

My memories of Wes Wesley Scott Hood "Friend non friend" Tag Team Partner in making fun of your mom!! Parking lot smoking buddy @ PGI Mommas' boy, best big brother ever, dopiest dad, best friend lover and soulmate You are your mother's son nobody could deny that Never wrong (sorry Michelle lol) Best smiles ever The joy you shared from reading a good book Michelle and Gary, I cannot even comprehend what you 2 are going through! Parents should never have to bury their children!! There is no stronger love than that between a mother and son She is so proud of the man you have turned out to be! Worse car owner luck lol From high centering in the Burger King Drive thru to multiple flat tires Pretty sure I saw a tear in Jerry Jones's eye when he heard the news about Dallas Cowboys #1 fan had crossed over
