Obituary of John Earl Wiersma

John Earl Wiersma, 59 years old, departed this life on October 6, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born March 24, 1963 to Earl and Irene Wiersma in the state of California. John moved to Colorado in 1977, and worked on the family dairy, later graduating from Ellicott High School in 1981. He attended diesel mechanic school and welding school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. John enjoyed hot rods, Nascar, golf, pin striping, spending time with his friends, and spending time with his daughters. He truly lived life on the wilder side, as he was an adventurous soul. John is preceded in death by his father and mother, Earl and Irene Wiersma. John is survived by his two daughters, Katelyn and Cortni Wiersma; his brother, Steve (Tammy) Wiersma; sister, Audra (Johnny) Wiersma; nephews, Steven (Sara) Wiersma, Casey (Morgan) Wiersma, Michael (Amanda) Goss, Mathew Goss; and niece, Amy (Dustin) Barnes.
