Obituary of Alice Roberta Vazis

Alice Roberta Vazis, 83, passed away on October 16, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born July 21, 1939 in Montgomery, Alabama to George and Roberta Eugenia (Hunter) Vazis. Alice was a strong woman with many trades. She was most known for her amazing cooking skills, along with other duties such as being an accountant, legal secretary, librarian, and child care provider. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Roberta Vazis; her youngest daughter, Tammy Leigh Nichols; her son-in-law, Ricky E. Steward; and her brother-in-law, Richard Grzelak. Alice, beloved mother, is survived by her eldest daughter, Rhonda Lynn Steward; her sister, Dolores Ann (Vazis) Grzelak; her two nephews, Christopher and Stephen Grzelak; her five grandchildren, Kevin (Janae) Steward, Kristin (Jeremy) Bohannan, Kristopher (Rebecca) Steward, Josh Nichols, and Marissa Clark; and her eight great-grandchildren, Adin, Evan, Connor, Myan, Izzy, Leonie, Odin, and Maris. Alice was loved by so many friends and family, she will be greatly missed by all and she will live forever in our hearts. She is now rejoicing with the angels in the presence of the Lord. Rest in peace Nana (Momma) until we all meet again.
