Obituary of Judith Ann Davidson Lusk

Our dear mother, Judith Ann Davidson Lusk, stepped out of our arms and into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Crist on the morning of October 17, 2022. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community. Judy, as she is known to all who loved her, was born on December 3, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Jessie Tuttle. She grew up in Iowa until she was 14 and moved to Denver, Colorado where she graduated from South High School. She attended Colorado A & M (now CSU) where she majored in Occupational Therapy. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. At CSU, she fell in love with William (Bill) Davidson, and they married on December 29, 1956. Judy and Bill were married for 45 years and traveled from coast to coast with the Air Force and Bill's various agricultural job assignments. Judy and Bill had three children, Debbie, Kelly and Jeff. Judy was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. After Bill passed away, Judy gained a whole other family to love when she married Truman Lusk in 2006. Judy was a social butterfly. She loved organizing and entertaining. She was definitely "the hostess with the mostest." In whatever community Judy lived in: Lincoln, Nebraska, Reedley, California, Rocky Ford, Colorado, or most recently Colorado Springs, Colorado, Judy always stepped up to chair, host, or create some group or event that would bring people together to celebrate and share their lives. Judy loved serving and being with people. She made life-long friends wherever she went. Nothing brought her more joy than keeping in touch with friends, even after moving hundreds of miles away. Judy loved life. She loved to laugh, to sing, to dance, to travel, to drink wine and to fish. She loved to spend time with her friends and family. Judy was a woman of God. She loved Jesus and sharing that love with others. Judy is survived by family and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her daily. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jessie Tuttle, her husband, Bill Davidson and husband, Truman Lusk and her granddaughter, Taylor Davidson. Judy is survived by her daughters Debbie and husband, Rodger Murphy, Kelly and husband, Larry Miller and son, Jeff, and wife Ginger Davidson. She is survived by grandchildren: Justin and wife Lindsey Murphy, Josh and wife Kylie Murphy, Aubrey Davidson, Jacob Davidson, Andrew Miller and Becca Miller; and great grandchildren Kendall O'Brien, Paxton Murphy, Chloe Murphy, Emmie Murphy and Hagen Murphy.
