Sra. Mark Onken and I met at Luke AFB in the Civil Engineering squadron. We spent years working and competing together. Prime Beef was where we excelled. It was pushing ourselves to be the best of the best. This was proven when we deployed to Desert Shield / Desert Storm. Mark was a roll model for troops and civilians to follow. I enjoyed our recents walks with our coffee and Bailys talking about our adventures and friends we served with. My prayers are with Susan, Jesse`, Lyndsey and Josh. You are a living testament to your dads life and who he was. It has been a privilege to be a small part of your life's.

To family, friends and associates, I graduated from Poky HS with Mark in 1982. As we recently celebrated our 40th class reunion, I was blessed to spend 2-3 hours conversing with Mark on that Sunday morning over many cups of coffee. My heart goes out to Susan and their children & grand-children. Mark was a good man.

I was a former high school classmate of Mark's. I remember his sarcasm and crazy hair but also his kindness. It was wonderful to see him again at our recent 40th reunion. Mark was a good man. He will be missed. My condolences to his dear family.
