Obituary of Mark David Huerta

Mark David Huerta, age 61, passed away on October 21, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on March 31, 1961 to Alvin and Beatrice Huerta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mark went to high school at Highland High School and graduated in 1979. Mark worked as a semi-driver/mechanic for United Rentals for over twenty-three years. Mark enjoyed camping and dirt bike riding with his sons and wife. He loved classic cars. He is known for being kind and generous. He had a knack for striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He would give money to kids at the store, and was the kind of person who would spend thirty minutes talking to anyone who walked their dog by our house. He was especially known for his sense of humor and was constantly playing tricks and making jokes. It was Mark's honesty and vulnerability that drew others to him, and his extraordinary ability to love and accept others. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Huerta; and his brothers, Raul and Victor Huerta. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Huerta; his oldest son, MarcAnthony (Sarah) Huerta; his youngest son, Matthew Huerta; his grandchildren, Asher and Maisley Huerta; his mother, Beatrice Huerta; his brothers, Alvin, Jr. Huerta and Michael Huerta; his nieces, Maria Davis Huerta, Michelle Huerta, and Cheyenne Huerta; and his nephews, Tom Huerta and Alec Huerta.
