Obituary of Carmen Mae Cantu
On Saturday, October 22, 2022 our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, mother-in-law and friend began her journey home to our Lord surrounded by her ten sons and daughters that she loved dearly at the age of 92.
Carmen was born to Marcos and Rosario (Monticeno) Delgado in Kansas City, Kansas on June 18, 1930.
She enjoyed working with her hands, visiting family, friends and being a homemaking mother.
Carmen is survived by her children, Jesse, John, Tim, Carol, Elvina, Helen, Joe Jr., James, Delmar and Julie whom loved her dearly; her brother, Mike Delgado; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her ex-husband and father of their ten children, Jose Cantu; five sisters; and one brother.
