Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Gilman

Kenneth Eugene Gilman of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022. He was born to the late Frank and Mabel Gilman on September 15, 1934 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Ken was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A United States Navy Submarine Veteran who served his country with valor and honor. He was an honest, caring and giving person who would help everyone and anyone. He worked tirelessly as an advocate for the disabled, and to help those in need have a better life. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Lorraine, whom he married on May 9, 1959 and celebrated sixty years of marriage. He is survived by three children, Douglas (Tammy) Gilman of Fenton, Missouri, Gregory (Dixie) Gilman of Westcliffe, Colorado, and Lynette Gilman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
