Obituary of Doris Anne Wall
Doris Anne Wall, 79, formerly of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was born on March 20, 1943 to Annie Louise Turek and Alfred Earl Wall in Petersburg, Virginia.
She was a loving mother, sister, nana, and friend to many. Doris was so often referred to as the sweetest lady, her smile was delightful and she was known for "the look" which we will all miss dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Turek Vlkojan; step-father, Charlie Vlkojan; and sister, Joyce Townsend.
Doris is survived by her son, Everett "Buddy" (Melissa) Mahan, Jr. of Gordon, Texas; her daughter, Terrie (Mike) Necaise of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Stacey Edington of Fort Worth, Texas, Kyle Vaughan of Fort Worth, Texas, Army Specialist E4 Brandon Mahan of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Morgan Mahan of Gordon, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Avery Edington, Caden Vaughan, and Emery Vaughan, and Wesley Laznovsky; her brothers, Richard (Mary) Wall of Virginia, Robert Wall of Virginia, and Chuck (Brenda) Vlkojan of North Carolina; her extended family, Brooke (Chris) Ballew of Waxahachie, Texas, Clint (Jessica) Price of White Settlement, Texas, and Cody Necaise of Stephenville, Texas; Dylan Ballew, Slaid Ballew, Lincoln Price, and Isana Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Ashwood Court for the love and care they provided over the years. Special thanks to Trinity and Abode Hospice for the love and care provided during the past few weeks following her diagnosis. We are so grateful for all of the earthly angels that surrounded her.
A celebration of life will be held in Texas at a later date.
