Obituary of Mitchell Lane Bentz

Mitchell "Mitch" Lane Bentz, 66, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on November 16, 2022. Mitch was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on July 6, 1956. While attending Kenwood High School in Baltimore, Maryland, he won several championships for wrestling. Mitch went on to serve in the United States Air Force, and later started his own floor installation company, while always keeping his main focus on loving and caring for his family. Mitch was passionate about family values, and was the patriarch of an ever-growing family that loved him deeply, and will miss him dearly. Mitch was preceded in death by his mother and father, Georgie and George; and his brother, Jeffery. He is survived by his four children, Carly Camalier, Milana (Nick) Robinson, Hunter (Sky) Bentz, and Georgie Bentz; his twelve grandchildren; and his brothers, Danny, Steve (Kim), and Brian (Beverly). A service was held on November 19, 2022, and was a small family affair that respected his final wishes. Mitch will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
