Jacob was like a brother to me. We not only worked together and were with each other every day for about 3 years but he was my best friend. I'm going to miss him so much. I never thought I was going to get as close to him as I did. We did so much together wither it was work, concerts, or avalanche games. He made is easy to get through each day because no matter what we were doing his sarcasm and his jokes and just Jacob being Jacob made me laugh and have fun. I knew that my next day or my next week was going to be ok because I knew Jacob was going to be there with me. He will be missed so much. RIP my brother

Meeting Jacob turned out to be one of the biggest blessing I could have ever imagined. I wish I had the right words. I will never forget the first time we went snowboarding, it was your first time ever, and we both had these stupid grins on our faces the whole day! It was one of the best days of my life. Or when we drove back to MI in the 4runner... we had so much fun! You gave me Radar, my protector & best friend, and now I feel safe. Thank you Jacob. Jacob loved dogs!!! When we got a place together he knew I wanted a puppy. Within 12 hours of living together he found a lady selling blue heeler puppys which was the breed i wanted. Our hearts melt when we saw her. 5 years later and she still got excited every time she saw you!!!

We signed up for an avalanche rush program a couple years ago and we would get last minute texts to avalanche games for seats not sold out for $15. At the time we lived together about 15 min from the arena. Whoever would get the text first no questions asked would buy tickets for us to go to the game this was one of many games we went to together

About 5 years ago I started telling Jake I wanted a puppy! I would send him puppy pictures and videos all day long. He would send them too! We talked about dog breads, training, and everything dog. We both love dogs. He would ask billions of "What if…" questions. "What if you had a dog and got evicted?" "Would you ever take a dog to the pound?" "Where would you take your dog if you didn't want it anymore?" I didn't know he was interviewing me. He wanted to make sure I would take good care of a dog. He got me Athena for my birthday. She turned 5 today. She's the most amazing dog in the world.
