It is very hard to say goodbye to my Wingman. Serving together in the Air Force and many years of travelling together as consultants for Nuclear Command and Control, I will always revere his perpetual sense of optimism. And Bruce was never afraid to challenge the Pros, even in their own backyard, because he would cut through argument, debate, and doubt, then offer solutions that everyone understood. Sure, he took his work seriously because it was vitally important to Strategic stability, but he never took himself seriously. He worked hard but he knew how to play hard. He displayed remarkable leadership, courage, and dedication during his life of service to the United States. He truly made a major positive impact wherever he lived and worked. Bruce was truly my hero! He was an innovative leader and world-class professional who served with unmatched excellence and dedication. When you consider the number of lives he has touched, it is easy to understand why the nation is a better place to live. He lived by the code: service to humanity is the best work of life!

Bruce was more than a neighbor for over 15 years. He was also one of our dearest friends. We spent many winters shoveling snow together to make sure our neighborhood was safe. He was very involved in the neighborhood and we spent years on the HOA Board together. Whether we were chatting with our morning coffee in the cul de sac, or enjoying a marg at our favorite Mexican restraunt, Bruce always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed!
