George is survived by his wife, Stephanie Lorraine (Ulku) Horbatenko; his step-daughter, Ashley (Chad) Childers; his step-son, Brian Becker; and his grandchildren, Kairi, and Odin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wassily and Ursula Horbatenko.
