Obituary of Cheryl Marie Clement

On the afternoon of December 30, 2022, Cheryl Marie Clement, 78, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went home to be with the Lord. She was born on September 19, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Peter and Elsie Block. She attended San Bernadino High School in California and graduated in 1962. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in speech and language pathology from California State University, Los Angeles. Cheryl was a wonderful daughter, a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and a doting grandmother. She loved the Lord and her church. Cheryl was known for her angelic voice. She touched many hearts with her singing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Elsie Block; and her brother, Vance Block. She is survived by her husband, Augustus T. Clement; daughter, Marie E. (William) Clement-Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, David J. Clement of Liberty Hills, Texas; and her grandchildren, Augustus V. Smith, and Varick W. Smith.
