Obituary of Lynn Dorothy Burdi

Lynn Dorothy Burdi, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be in the arms of the Lord on July 16, 2019 at 2:20PM at the age of 81. She was surrounded by her loving family.� Lynn was born on December 18, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the only daughter of Edwin Scott and Elinor Mae Alexander. Her father was a pilot, so she spent much of her childhood in the air and tending to aircraft. Some of her fondest memories were flying with her father. Lynn was one of the first 911 Operators for the City of Colorado Springs, and dedicated twenty-seven years of her career to the Colorado Springs Fire Department as a dispatcher. She adored her family, and spent her life devoted to loving and caring for them in all ways she was able.�Lynn is survived by her first and only husband, Aldo Joseph Burdi; sons, Mike (Jeanie) and Aldo (Mary) Burdi; and daughter, Gina (Bill) McCready. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Zachery and Morgan McCready, as well as Joshua, Mariesa and Christopher Burdi.
